video culling & auto editing · photo culling private preview

An editor that learns your eye —
not a template.

Cull raw footage to the moments worth keeping, turn them into an editable first cut, and teach Cutflash your taste with every change.

Windows desktop · editing and rendering run locally — scoring uses a cloud pass.
FlashPersona remembers your edits; the shared FlashHive keeps every new editor's starting point sharp from day one.
No extra charge to re-cut, re-grade, or re-export.
Cull footage. Build the cut. Refine it. Export.

Cull the footage. Build the story. In a flash.

Stop spending hours hunting through raw clips. Cutflash finds the strongest usable moments, builds an editable cut, paces it to music, applies your look, and keeps the original footage untouched.

The hidden superpower

It learns your creative DNA

Cutflash doesn't just automate — it adapts. Every time you tweak a cut or adjust a color grade, your FlashPersona™ remembers. Over time it mimics your exact editing style, so the first draft lands closer and closer to final. The more you use it, the more it edits like you — and the FlashHive™ pools what every editor teaches it, so even day one starts smart.

Questions & answers

Straight answers — no fluff.

What is Cutflash?

Windows video culling and auto-editing software that learns your eye. Drop a folder of raw clips and it finds strong moments, builds an editable cut, grades it, adds your branding, and exports a finished short — or exports the selected moments for your NLE.

Does Cutflash cull photos too?

Yes, but photo culling is currently a limited private preview. It evaluates subject focus, blinks, exposure, bursts and duplicates while keeping the photographer in control of every pick.

Is editing really free?

You pay for the scoring pass (measured in “Flashes”). After that, building the montage, re-drafting, refining shots, and re-exporting all reuse those same scores — no extra charge. You only spend again if you scan brand-new footage.

What's a “Flash”?

A Flash is one scoring pass over your clips — the unit we price on. Repeat or cached work is free, so you're never double-charged to re-analyze the same footage.

What does it cost?

Starter — $10/mo or $100/yr (8 Flashes). Pro — $25/mo or $250/yr (24 Flashes).

Can I keep working while it runs?

Yes — scoring and export run in the background, so you can do other things, and Cutflash can notify you when a run finishes. You can even point it at a parent folder of shoots and batch them all in one pass.

Does it get better over time?

Yes. Your FlashPersona learns from every cut you tweak and grade you adjust, so drafts land closer to your taste. The shared FlashHive pools what every editor teaches it, so even day one starts smart.

What footage does it work with?

Common video formats (MOV, MP4, and more). It auto-detects log vs standard footage and grades accordingly.

Where does my footage go? Is it private?

Cutflash runs on your own machine and works on your own footage. To pick the best moments, it sends frames to the cloud for analysis. We don't sell your data — see our Privacy Policy.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes — the scoring runs in the cloud, so you'll need a connection to score and export.

Your next short is one drop away.

Drop a folder of clips and watch Cutflash do the rest.
